Local collection & marketplace terms
General Market connects buyers and sellers for local collection. Property enquiries and viewings follow their separate workflows.
Agree, inspect, then pay
Offers and counteroffers record the proposed price for one item or bundle. An accepted offer reserves the item; it is not payment confirmation. Agree a pickup time and suitable meeting place privately. Inspect the condition and description before paying the seller directly. Sellers should verify actual receipt of funds or cash before handing over an item.
Payments and shipping
Shipping and delivery checkout are unavailable. JustSellam does not receive or hold purchase payments, operate a buyer wallet or escrow, provide insurance, or promise reimbursement. Do not send advance payments based solely on messages or payment screenshots.
Honest listings and appropriate conduct
List only items you are entitled to sell. Describe defects, condition and price accurately. Do not post unlawful, stolen, counterfeit or dangerous prohibited goods. Do not harass other members. Exact home addresses, bank details and sensitive documents should not appear in public listings.
Changes and cancellations
Either participant may cancel an accepted deal before it is marked completed. Contact the other participant promptly. An accepted deal must be cancelled before the seller changes the item. Seller confirmation records their statement that payment and handover occurred; it is not independent verification by JustSellam.
Problems and reporting
Use Report item for misleading or suspicious content, Report message in your inbox for abusive messages, and Block member to stop new contact. Basic reporting is free. Moderators can review reports and remove content. Support can assist with complaints but cannot guarantee recovery of payments made directly to sellers. Preserve your messages and transaction evidence.
Your rights
These operational terms do not exclude rights or obligations that apply under Nigerian law. Applicable refund and other legal rights depend on the transaction and parties; an inspection or completion status does not automatically waive them.
